This piece was designed and made very quickly in response to the 2019 Sarabah Fire. It shows the miraculous regeneration after the sheer devastation of bushfire. The Sarabah Fire started by a cigarette destroyed the iconic Binna Burra Lodge on the 8th September 2019. The colour palette in the piece is very unique and I have named it "Resilience". This rug is now sold and will not be remade however you may like to view the "Reslience" Stripey Mat in my store as an alternative.
